Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)

CSR is the need for organisations to consider the good of the wider communities, local and global, within which they exist in terms of the economic, legal, ethical and philanthropic impact of their way of conducting business and the activities they undertake.

CSR is an issue that covers a wide range of topics, including the environmental performance of the organisation.

Arguably a company that aims to practice CSR must have a positive commitment to the environment and policies, plans and procedures in place to deliver on that commitment.
