The supply chain is sometimes the part of an organisation that has the
greatest environmental impact. Also many organisations are part of
a supply chain and may be feeling pressure to improve their performance
- the requirement for ISO14001 is one example.
In environment as in other areas there can be greater benefits by
working with the supply chain than against it.
